Hello!
I’m Pily Prado, an illustrator and graphic designer born and raised in Mexico, now based in Spain.
My artwork dives into themes of death, memory, and the mystical, inspired by folklore surrounding spirits and the afterlife. Growing up in Mexico, I witnessed the reality of missing people and the stories left behind, a profound experience that continues to shape my work.
Each of my characters is based on real individuals who have disappeared or passed on. I incorporate their personalities, passions, and physical traits into my illustrations to honor them—preserving their memories in a uniquely personal way.
With each drawing, I aim to bridge the realms of life and memory, infusing a sense of beauty, reflection, and hope into every piece to share these powerful stories.
My goal is to honor the lives behind the statistics and bring awareness to this critical issue. Every purchase supports organizations dedicated to finding missing persons. If you’d like to support these associations directly, please find their links below.
